Is this worth our family's money?

I can't answer for your family, but what I can say is that this is a small investment into your child's future.  Investing in this process now will save you money down the road. Finding the right college fit will help avoid begrudgingly going through the transfer process.  Also, many students think they need to apply to too many colleges, this is where I come in... saving you not only money with application fees, but also your time!

does this save my family time?

This one is easy, YES! I am here to help organize all things related to college. I love this process, and my goal is to help eliminate any unnecessary stress from you and your student. The college application process is overwhelming. Allowing me to do what I do best will save you time and dissipate frustration, giving you the opportunity to actually enjoy this process, which is possible!

we don't live in the same state, but you sound like the right fit for us...how can we make this work?

Lucky for us, Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, and Google Hangouts all exist to make our lives easier! If you think I am a good fit for your family, I would LOVE to work with you. I won't let distance come between us so let's take this process online.  I ask that your student stays engaged the entire time we are "face-to-face," and that we schedule our check-ins in advance so as not to waste anyone's time.

Why choose a private college counselor?

With limited resources in schools, a private college counselor allows greater opportunity for your student to succeed.  I help you and your student get the most out of the college application process, allowing the ability to freely ask questions and engage with me, and being committed to putting your student on his or her path to success.  In order to fulfill that, your student deserves someone who can dedicate maximum time, resources, and expertise.  I provide one-on-one counseling for students and families, helping each of my students realize their potential in the college application process and beyond.

what should we expect?

Great question! You should expect a fun, comprehensive, and eye-opening experience.  An experience where your child learns more about him or herself in an innovative way, while also finding their true educational path.  Expect to have the stress taken off your plate and watch the process of applying to schools become exciting for your student.  This experience is unique and happens once in your child's lifetime, requiring you and your child to enter into it with an open mind and open heart.
